Some of the questions that you may have
HOW LONG SHOULD I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY SHIPMENT?

You should expect to receive your goods within five (5) to ten (10) working days in Nairobi after your goods leave our U.S or Europe warehouse. After your goods arrive, we’ll call or SMS you informing you of the same.  If you experience delays in receiving your goods, contact us immediately and we will help to confirm the status of your goods. Please note that it is important to order goods for special occasions such as Christmas, Easter, Father’s Day or Mother’s Day, Weddings and Birthdays well ahead of time (At least 3 weeks earlier) this is because delays sometimes do occur as a result of uncontrollable circumstances such as bad weather, increased volumes (e.g. around the holidays) or inefficiencies at the port of entry or Acts of God.

WHAT ARE YOUR CHARGES?

Our rates are as follows:

USA –> $20/KG

United Kingdom –> £6/KG + £35 (Documentation Fee)

Dubai, UAE –> $10/KG

ARE THERE ANY EXTRA CHARGES?

No. All our stated rates are inclusive of duties, insurance, applicable taxes and shipping costs.

HOW DO YOU CALCULATE THE BILLABLE WEIGHT?

The billable weight is determined via the international standards used, which is the greater of Actual Weight and Dimensional/Volumetric Weight. Actual Weight is the weight of the package when put on a scale. Dimensional/Volumetric Weight is based on the size of the package.

WHERE DO I COLLECT MY SHIPMENT ONCE IT ARRIVES?

When your goods are ready for collection, an invoice will be sent to you. You can schedule pick up at Nairobi office (see directions) or we can deliver to your home or office. Deliveries will be done at an extra cost. All goods destined to a location outside Nairobi will be sent via courier service (G4S only) to your destination at an extra cost. HOW DO I MAKE PAYMENT FOR MY SHIPMENT?

You can make payment via our MPESA PayBill  Number or Bank Transfer indicated at the bottom of your invoice when we send it. We do not accept CASH payments. 

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO SHOP ONLINE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Not a problem. You tell us what you want to buy and we will send you a quote with all costs included in 24 hours. The price includes the product, the local shipping (if any) and our shipping rate to your doorstep. You check, approve and we carry out the purchase in your name AFTER you make payment to us and inform you the process step by step. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN PURCHASE COST.

We accept payment for shipping charges on delivery at our own discretion.

CAN I SHIP ANYTHING?

Unfortunately, there are items either restricted or prohibited from air freight shipping due to their nature and local regulations, for example, flammable items like aerosols, perfumes, alcohol based items, live animals or plants etc. For Kenya, see list here. If you are not sure whether the item that you’d like to ship is prohibited, please contact us first.
